i have never been a painter. i am a sketchy, doodler, who draws sausage people in multiple sex positions. i am not a painter. fuck paint. fuck you liquid color of mess. what a mess.
the goal was: do four different paintings, of the same five objects, in different light and different positions. they all look the same.

OKay, this is a rant blog about work and the man.

Be warned.

So, not only do I have a million hobbies, I have a job that enables me to do these things.
A job that I like to do, and that I think I am good at. I am currently a waitress at a pub. I believe that being a server is good money, easy to do and keeps you busy. All things that make a pretty decent JOB.

Now, some people partake in their JOBS with 200% and get nothing in return. That used to be me, until I got a "real" job working in a company, and not helping my mom out with chores. I used to give my mom 200% when helping her with chores because she made me feel good about doing them.

I have been constantly working in a "real" job, since I was 14 years old, where started out with McDonalds. NINE FUCKING YEARS. I have learned a lot.

I have slowly become jaded about working for a job that wasn't going to help me in my CAREER. I have become annoyed by the ungrateful employers, over achievers, drama queens, politics and gossip. Honest to god, I try and avoid all of this things but I am SURROUNDED by it. Some one please help me.

I understand that my JOB is helping out someone's career therefore I do my best. Sometimes we have bad days, but why does EVERYONE remember the bad days? Why doesn't someone look at the good days and say, hey, remember that time you rocked?

(Now this isn't just directed at the job I am currently at, I have had over 20 jobs in my life *swear to god* This is directed at a few PAST employers)

Everyone focuses on the negative and when you do that, you attract more negativity. FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE PEOPLE!

OVER ACHIEVERS. I do 100% at my part-time, doing this to get me through school, need a few extra bucks JOB. Sorry, I don't go to your 150% and then turn around and talk shit about someone who's doing their 100% best. At least shit is getting done. GAWD.

DRAMA QUEENS. No one cares about your life, when all you do is complain. If you want to have friends (like me) crack jokes, sing, calm down, take a breather and just be as fucking cool, as a fucking cucumber. JEEZ.
Honestly, ask the guys in the kitchen, I rule and we all get along. Cuz I'm COOL.

GOSSIP. If you talk shit about people, they will find out. If you talk shit about people, people will love talking shit about you more. If you talk shit about people, find something better to talk about.

POLITICS. I get it, its everywhere and its lame.

Now, I totally understand that everything I listed above is at every job and every career and in everything. Which sucks, but thats life. The difference is, between Career and Job.
People don't like their jobs and I'm sure a lot don't like their careers either. I do like my job, but I am going to love and be passionate about my career.

The difference is like a one night stand and marriage.

I have never been so stoked to be going back to school. When I was younger, every September, I would try my best to set goals and attain them, only to fail. The first month of school I always did so well, then it started to drag on and I would slowly loose interest. Thats what happens when you're a kid. It's just like getting that sweet new toy for Christmas, only to never play with it by New Years eve.

This time is going to be different. Mostly because I will be going back to school with kids much younger then me. I won't be bothered with their drama or their childish parties. This time I will only focus on my work and why I am going to school in the first place. I won't let myself down, cuz this is it. This is the last straw. This is the career I want and it's only going to take eight months. I can accomplish anything in eight months.

Not only am I going back to school but I am starting to take my modeling a bit more seriously. I know it will benefit my career in the future. Seeing as I am going to an art school there will be plenty of photographers to work with. Its all about networking baby!

I also started up my YouTube project. So I recommend you go and check out all my latest videos. I am starting up a Video Blog too, that I will post here and on YouTube. be stoked. All you have to do is search SineadiganShow on youtube and watch the magic.

Right now I have so much focus and determination. Its all about positive thoughts.

What can I say about being away for two weeks and living in Europe?

I loved every moment of it.

My moms whole family lives there: four brothers and three sisters and a ton of nieces and nefews. I met every one of them and they are all adorable with their accents and everything. So most of the trip consisted of site seeing during the day and going out to eat with family at night.
I ate and drank so much, it felt great until is was a struggle to put on my skinny jeans. I have started a Detox since coming home, so no more beer and no more fries. Not too difficult, as I have never been more determined as of right now.
Site seeing is my favorite thing to do while on vacation. We went to the Cliffs of Moher, drove all up the south west side of Ireland, all the south and up North to Dublin. Got to go to the Guinness brewery and drink a free Guinness while looking over all of Dublin. (Best tasting beverage ever) Did some shopping, got my finger tattooed, took a very long lonely walk down the beach and let everything sink in. I love being alone on the beach with my music and not thinking about anything but the sand under your feet and the tide slowly creeping in. I want to live on the beach some day, and I will.

After going to Dublin, my brother Sean and I went to Amsterdam the next day to smoke doobies, buy Absinthe and see some sites. We did it all and I can't wait till our shipment of Absinthe comes in!! We went to a bunch of amazing cafes: The Grasshopper, The Joker, The Greenhouse Effect, Green Expirence, and a few more which my stoned memories can't recall. BEST. WEED. EVER.
We did a lot of burning, walking and sitting. Mostly a lot of walking. But it took us to this really sweet store where I bought a Sailor Jerry shirt. Its super rad. While stoned we thought it would be hilarious to go to a wax museum and take pictures with all our favorite celebrities. My favorite was Bob Marley and Brangelina. I managed to cop a feel and Brad isn't as big as I thought. hhah. Sean and I also found ourselves on hooker avenue which was hilarious, degrading and depressing all at the say time. It was 5:00 in the afternoon for god sakes and there where ladies in their windows waiting for the next perve to buy her. Gross.

Lots of people thought we were Americans, until I told them I was insulted
McDonalds is taking over the world
I missed Tim Hortons
Beer tastes better in Ireland
Showers have no pressure in Ireland, it felt like God was spitting on me
You can get used to the smell of cow poop
Mountain Goats are bad ass
Cows respond to human Moos
Stray dog run rampant in the streets and I wanted to adopt everyone of them
Driving in Ireland is the most terrifying expirence with narrow roads and crazy speed limits
I am so grateful to live in Canada, now lets legalize marijuana and call it the best place on earth
Traveling is one of my favorite things to do in life, but there is no place like home.

It was my first year working the warped tour. I interviewed the bands: Gym Class Heros, The Academy Is, Horrorpops, Protest The Hero, The Bronx and Everytime I Die. All awesome interviews. I especially like Keith from Every Time I Die, such a rad dude. I also love, love, love The Bronx dudes. I can't wait to see them again, as I developed a crush on Matt. He had noticed me later that day and gave me a walk by arm squeeze. You just got yourself a fan for life, although I was already a fan.

Let me just say I got ditched by Tom Delonge of Angels and Airwaves. They had to do a signing which ran into our interview time. My heart was broken. I had interviewed all those other bands but I was mostly looking forward to my Tom.
I don't have celebrity crushes and I never get nervous before an interview, but Tom, oh Tom how you do things to me. I was super upset, even though my whole day had been successful, all I wanted to do was tell Tom he was the first man I ever dreamed about while touching myself. WHAT GUY WOULDN'T WANT TO HEAR THAT? Also, I think I would have left a pretty amazing impression.
Well while we were leaving the press area, Tom just walks on by. So like a stupid crazed fan I ran after him, yelling TOM! TOM! TOM!
I say, You know what? Its fine we dont have to do an interview we can do one another day, I just have to get a picture with you and tell you a secret after.
So after our picture I say," You were the first person I ever masterbated to" - Just like that. He pulls me away and says something along the lines of we'll be back in a bit and gives me a big lift up hug and gets all over me. I was in heaven. He smelt so good. Then he said something like I can never stop thinking about him while I do that, and I say NEVER and that I love him.
That was my Tom Delonge experience, mostly likely better then yours, hahahaha.

So with all the interviews I did, I didn't get to see many bands. I briefly saw the Aggrolites, Horrorpops, Gym Class Heros, The Briggs, Broadway Calls, Saint Alvia Cartel and I saw the whole set of Angels and Airwaves, which was acoustic and beautiful.

I want to go to another date, maybe this Thursday at Darien Lake to see the missed sets. We'll see how that goes.
